Women's Workwear — Practical Clothing Built for the Job
FORSBERG women's workwear is designed for people who need clothing that genuinely performs on site: breathable T-shirts for active shifts, hard-wearing trousers reinforced where they take the most punishment, and layering pieces that keep you comfortable through longer outdoor days. The range covers everything from lightweight tops to structured work trousers, with functional details that make a real difference when you're moving around all day.
What's in the Women's Collection
The current range includes a broad mix of everyday workwear pieces. T-shirts are well represented — the Skogson T-Shirt, the Halvarson T-shirt with chest pocket, the Oil Brorson T-shirt with chest pocket, the Ragnarson T-Shirt with Chest Pocket, the Espenson T-shirt with chest logo, the Thyrison T-Shirt chest logo and the Finnson t-shirt with chest logo are all available in the women's section, alongside several solid colour T-shirt twin packs. For layering, the Pettarson Logo Hoodie adds warmth during breaks or cooler mornings. The Marcoson polo shirt rounds out the tops selection.
On the trouser side, the Halpa work pants, Halpa work shorts, Buxa work trousers with Cordura® and the Braxa work trousers with DuraMotion® stretch zones and reinforced knee area cover a range of demands from light-duty outdoor tasks through to heavier site work. Accessories include an elastic belt with metal buckle and an elastic belt with rubber buckle and bottle opener.
Trousers: Matching the Garment to the Task
The two main trouser technologies in this range serve different use cases, and it's worth knowing the difference before you choose.
Cordura® is a high-tenacity nylon fabric registered by the INVISTA group. It offers significantly higher abrasion resistance than standard workwear fabrics, which makes the Buxa work trousers a practical choice for kneeling, crawling and any work that puts sustained pressure on the fabric surface. The trade-off is that Cordura® panels tend to be stiffer than stretch materials.
DuraMotion® is a registered FORSBERG technology. It refers to reinforced material zones — for example at the knee — that are engineered to allow freedom of movement while protecting the areas that wear fastest. The Braxa work trousers combine DuraMotion® stretch zones with a reinforced knee area, which suits tasks where you need both mobility and durability: landscaping, outdoor maintenance, trades work.
If abrasion resistance is your priority, the Buxa with Cordura® is the harder-wearing choice. If unrestricted movement matters as much as protection, the Braxa with DuraMotion® stretch zones is worth a closer look.
Materials Across the Range
FORSBERG uses different fabric combinations depending on the garment's purpose:
Cotton and cotton blends dominate the T-shirt and hoodie range. The Pettarson Logo Hoodie uses a cotton/polyester blend with a brushed interior — the polyester content helps the garment hold its shape after repeated washing, while the cotton keeps it comfortable against the skin. T-shirts in organic cotton offer good breathability and a lower environmental footprint; check individual product pages for exact fibre compositions.
For the technical trouser range, higher-denier nylon and polyester constructions provide durability and faster drying compared with pure cotton. Where elastane is included, it allows the fabric to move with you rather than pulling tight at the hips or knees — particularly relevant for anyone who alternates between crouching, climbing and standing throughout the day.
Water-repellent (DWR) finishes appear on some outer-layer garments. These finishes require care: wash at the temperature shown on the garment label, avoid fabric softener (it degrades the DWR coating) and tumble-dry or iron on low heat after washing to reactivate the finish where the care label permits.
Sizing in the Women's Range
Sizes available across the women's collection include XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, 3XL and 4XL — though availability varies by model and colourway. Not every garment runs the full size range; T-shirts, for example, often run to XXL rather than 4XL. Always check the size chart on the individual product page before ordering.
How to Care for FORSBERG Women's Workwear
A few straightforward steps protect the fabrics and extend garment life. Before washing, close all zips and hook-and-loop fastenings, empty pockets and brush off heavy surface dirt. Use a mild technical detergent for functional and coated garments; a standard gentle detergent works for plain cotton pieces. Wash at the temperature shown on the care label — lower temperatures are usually sufficient and protect the fibres. Skip fabric softener on any garment with a DWR coating or stretch panels, as it reduces both water repellency and fabric elasticity over time.
